Just thought it would be good to post these on this forum. I'm in the process of reading them, and they're very interesting; dealing with state formation in general using Iron Age Israel as a case study. There's some stuff on the "tenth century debate" in there as well, along with a 29-page article on the Egyptian domination of Canaan during the New Kingdom period and the culture of the Philistines.

There are articles listed that are either inaccessable or require payment; just ignore those I guess. There are plenty that you can just click on and read for free.
