The 3 missing manuscripts from the ps.Gospel of Judas find
People,
Just a note to highlight that I'm getting more information about these all the time. I hope that everyone will be interested in these lost manuscripts, and in getting them back into where scholars can study them. Latest news is on my website. The latest thing that I have heard (true or false) is: I've also got some papers written by James M. Robinson (of Nag Hammadi fame) on this, and the Jung codex, which I have his permission to upload and will do so in the next day or two. All the best, Roger Pearse |

Hello, Roger,
Thanks for alerting us to this problem. It would be a great shame if the other manuscripts from this find would be lost to scholarship. In particular, you mentioned that one of these manuscripts is 'Letters of Paul' in Sahidic dialect. I suspect that these may be quite important for Pauline studies, and could get us closer to what Paul really wrote. All the best, Yuri. |

Hi Yuri,
Glad to help. I'm still chasing this and am getting closer to the players and getting more info. The story is gradually getting clearer, but some of my earlier ideas are turning out to be wrong. But I now have a very good idea of where the main pieces at least of all four manuscripts are. What I don't have, tho, is scholars to run with the Greek Exodus and the Sahidic Letters of Paul. Do you know who should be interested in new mss of these? All the best, Roger Pearse |
