Looking for a critique of Jospeh Lewis' "The Ten Commandments"
I am looking for a review/update/critique of Jospeh Lewis' book The Ten Commandments (1946). When I first read it a few years back I found it to be a powerful argument against the Old Testament as a legitimate source of moral philosophy. However, I've always been troubled that I had no way to evaluate his thesis that OT morals are just animistic superstitions reworded into a monotheistic context.
Does anyone know of a good rebut of Lewis' book? |

Actually, that has become rather mainstream.
