Possibly, but during that time a girl would likely have been killed for being "raped" and therefore it is unlikely anyone knew about a rape to "protect" her modesty. It seems to me much more likely that the poor girl was simply behaving rather naturally and because of the stupifying ignorance of sex, sexuality, et al at that time she probably ended up like so many ignorant young women - pregnant and not really knowing how the heck it happened? (The modern pregnancy myths probably aren't all that different - you can't get pregnant if you are a virgin, etc.)

I do wonder, if we accept for the moment that the virgin birth stories of John and Jesus was around from their birth and not a later creation, if that would have affected them in such a way that they became prophets?

That is certainly an interesting question. Plausible, surely. It could certainly have been a later addition to the narrative to boost the "divine" nature of the two men.
