Need an opinion on Carrier's latest
I've read Price's and Lowder's Empty Tomb long ago, and Carrier contributed several essays. For those who've read it of course, how does Not the Impossible Faith compare? Is it mostly a rehash of the material in the Empty Tomb? Is it substantially expanded enough so that purchasing it would be worth it?
I like Carrier, but I don't want to waste money. Finis, ELB |

Thanks
Thanks, but that didn't answer my question at all. I didn't ask about that online content, of which I'm already aware, vis-a-vis his book. I asked specifically about his contributions to the Empty Tomb and whether his newest book rehashes most of what's found there or substantially expands on it so that it'd be worth buying. (that is, if I don't feel like sitting at a computer reading the older online version of it)

Not the Impossible Faith is different material from the Empty Tomb.
The Empty Tomb is concerned with possible historical events around the resurrection. Not the Impossible Faith concerns the early history of Christianity in the Roman Empire. |
