According to Christian Theology, or mythology if you prefer, the world is not going to "end" merely the "age of man" is going to end to be immediately followed by the millenium.

For those who take Revelation (no 's', sugarhitman) seriously, let us see what that Jesus fella had to say: "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed" Luke 17:20 (NIV) ... a statement that pretty much invalidates all of Revelation. |

The end times has a purpose. To destroy the Jews who refuse to acknowledge Jesus as Lord. This is what many evangelicals expect to see and why they constantly offer one prediction after another. Jesus will return to Mt.Zion and separate the sheep from the goats. Blood will run up to the horses bridles. All this happening in Israel. What about the rest of the Jews throughout the world? Doesn't look like they count as Israel is the focused place of tribulation in the last day war. btw, the Christians will have been raptured into heaven where they watch as humanity and Jews in Israel are slaughtered by Jesus. |

The gentiles aren't excluded, in fact the Apostle Paul was sent primarily to the gentiles in the first century. According to christian theology, or mythology if you prefer, once the "time of the gentiles" is over Israel will be fully restored and rule over the nations during the millenium.
