FUEL, Mr Hitman? surely you do not think Israel will use guns and tanks as fuel INSTEAD of gathering "WOOD from the fields" or "cut...from the forests"!

Okay your wanting to suggest i imagine these woods? Well having actually worked with them and i consider you have not because you would not assert such an uninformed link. these do not burn at common house temperature, not only that if they did the fumes from the stuff would kill every animal for miles around. the PPE we have to wear when working with this stuff is very extensive and includes respirator just to drill into it. so be my guest burn it all you want. you'll die soon enough. Besides todays weaponry does not contain this it is used mostly in combat aircraft applications for rigidity in flight surfaces. it is used no where in the arms used by soldiers. those are made of steel, brass, lead, iron, and minute plastic parts that melt not burn. So good try by your rifle isn't bored and you missed the barn by a mile. I was a master machinist for the air force at Edwards AFB for 20 years so i know about allot of materials you have never heard of. most military applications by need is usually flame retardant. you see people burn easily so we try to keep the things they use from burning them. kind of the point.

Why is it that you guys accept all sorts of metaphorical/allegorical interpretations of stuff like this, but you believe that Genesis is literally true? How do you know which parts are metaphors, and which parts are literal?
I don't believe the eath is six thousand years old.

Thank you for your explanation. But the theory is that Russia, in the future, may use that material, or a derivative, of much inferior quality than is used by the United States which obviously isn't flameable. The other theory is that oil production may actually be greatly diminished in the future (didn't they burn oil field in Iraq?) so armies may resort to weaponry that does not run on oil. Besides the overriding factor is that this invading army is defeated and Israel continues to exist.

Then you will have to produce the premises you use to determine what in the bible you take literally. Or is it just that you pick and chose what to believe and what to take literally based upon your own fantasies? if not, I'm sure you can point me to the premises used, can't you?

how does this relate to the relevant prophecy by Ezekiel in 38 and 39 which clearly uses quite literal designations for bows, arrows, etc, and having Israel use these fallen weapons as FUEL instead of WOOD from the forests? you just said it cannot burn -- and if it does, i would imagine it to release quite deadly gases. . .
