Peter Kirby has published some excerpts on his site from the Pagan Christ by Laurence and Shirley Dalton.

There is another excerpt here, and the book may be ordered from www.jesusquest.com .

A previous edition is on Amazon, but the only biographical information there for the authors is "Laurence E. Dalton and Shirley Strutton Dalton are two amateurs who did their homework."

They appear to argue that Jesus was a figure constructed out of Hellenistic sources, and that Paul was not Jewish and did not believe in a human Jesus.

Just wanted to point out, the title would be: Jesus: Pagan Christ or Jewish Messiah?, not to be confused with Tom Harpur's book The Pagan Christ.
