Threads are moved by the Moderators to the forum that best describes their content. If your threads are often moved, it's not a personal issue, it just means that the moderator thinks the thread belongs in another category.

This thread is in ~E~ because there didn't seem to be much point for it to be in Biblical Criticism and History. The original post didn't try to address a specific point of Biblical History or Biblical Criticism, and there was no clear purpose or argument asserted.

Even in the quote above, you don't explain what your view on the matter is. What reason do you have for posting it? Do you agree with it, what do you think it proves? That would be a more appropriate topic for BC&H.

As it stands, ~E~ seems like the proper place for this thread.

I do neither. Whatever type of interperetation required is up the one asking of them.

What "obvious follow up questions?" "yet"

None of us were around when the flood happened.

Unless Jesus wanted to die for our sins...

Who knows?

So you think it did happen, yes? If so, we can demonstrate what we mean by 'obvious follow-up questions'.

I'll take it that you believe such a Deluge at least happened at some point in human history in the last 30,000 years. True?

So did a world wide all engulfing flood happen around 2200-2400 BCE or not?
If it did not happen at this time, what is your perspective on Genesis 5:3-28 and 5:32,11:10-26 and it's impact on the timelines for human history?
