Nice post! The good thing about this is that it has philosophical underpinnings and a testament in place before it began. No modern fundie leader can make that claim nor will there ever be one because if ever a protestant latches onto some truth it will drag him to Rome knee-deep through stone if he wants it that way.

Christology is an abomination but I guess theologians wouldn't know that as students. The fact is that when Christ became known he left the scene and that is about all we can say about Christ.
