I think it's pathetic for xians to argue in this way now that Einstein is dead and can't reply to their patronising and simplistic nonsense. Either the argument about a god's purposes works on its own or it doesn't; Einstein is not relevant here. They're simply using his name as a peg to hang it on and possibly garner a bit more interest than it merits.

This merely demonstrates the ability of the Christians to twist anything to their purpose or viewpoint.

They take the words of an admitted non-Christian stating that he did not accept their beliefs and then use them in support of the Christian God. Go figure.

A well understood but oft forgotten principal is that competence in one area does not equate to competence in another.

"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation and is but a reflection of human frailty." A. Einstein

Funny thing is that is the only sort of God there seems to be. At least as far as the imagination part goes .

Indeed. You'd think people could come up with a better god than the vain, jealous, petty, vindictive one in the Bible.

True, AND-- Hitler had faith in not just some generic "god" -- he believed in Jesus to be specific, so I guess he's really "right with God."

But OBL is gonna burn in hell too because he doesn't believe in Jesus.

Does anyone know if Manson just believes in a generic "god" or does he believe in Jeezus?

TBT, live up to your screen name & don't mislead poor misguided unbelievers by just trying to convince us that some smart dude believed in the existence of some sort of god, because that's not good enough. He's gotta believe in Jesus specifically! You might make us think that if we just believe in some generic god-dude up in the sky, we're saved!

Einstein is not a good example to support your X-tianity.

"Not everyone who says 'Lord, Lord'..." etc.

"Even the demons believe & shudder."
