Greek manuscripts from Leimonos online
Ever wanted to download PDF's of manuscripts? Now is your chance.
The monastery of Leimonos on the island of Lesbos has made 108 of its manuscripts available online. The Digital Library is here. There are a good number of gospel manuscripts, of course, and also hagiographical texts, plus sermons by people like John Chrysostom. All the best, Roger Pearse |

Thank you very much, indeed, Roger. Much appreciated.
The collection includes one work of Aristotle, but, alas, nothing by Aristarchus. I fear that his entire corpus was destroyed..... I am looking forward to that happy day when the Vatican relents and commences placing some of its huge collection on the web..... avi |

Lesbos, or Lesvos, is a real island. The inhabitants lost their lawsuit that attempted to prevent gays from using the name of their island to refer to gay women.
