Default Standing behind the King James Bible!

I agree with skeptics in one area and this is that modern Bible versions are PERVERTED. I have quoted and pasted links to charismatic websites (jcsm.org), Fundamentalist imitators (cerm.info), and other new evangelical and new age perverted "Christians." But I have only done so because of a link on the site. By all accounts I do not desire to associate with filthy Christians like the sites I mentioned above and the many others that use new age bible translations.

I stand for the King James Bible for its the Bible for me and all others are from Satan himself!

The 2001 English Standard Version is now heavily being promoted by many churches. It is a revision of the old Revised Standard Version, which earlier met with almost universal condemnation by evangelicals as being "liberal". Yet in the last few decades the church has been "softened up" by numerous conflicting bible versions like the NASB and NIV to now be ready to accept with open arms what it once rejected.
This page goes into some depth on the differences between the KJV and the perversions.

That is fine. In the King James Bible, Genesis 1:1 says "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." How can people reasonably verify the claim?

Much!! Check out the links I mentioned above. But God's word came to us in 1611 because He gave us revelation and the KJV is the Bible that He chose for the English speaking world. The KJV was good enough for many for thousands of years so its good enough for me! The NIV/ESV are bloodless bibles!

Good for you. What's the point of your post?

For fun: What's so special about the KJV? Does the flood still happen? Do the dead still come back to life? Isnt it just a rediculous as other versions?

Also, if you dont want to associate with those other "filthy" Christians, why associate with atheists, agnostics, etc.? Are we less filthy because we dismiss the bible as fiction rather than believe in a slightly different bible than you?

If the KJV was first published in 1611 how does that = "The KJV was good enough for many for thousands of years" ?

Message to Bill Joey: Have you corresponded with Bible John? Are you Bible John using a different name? You argue a lot like Bible John did. He preached a lot, and he attacked other Christians a lot.

Speaking of filthy Christians I recently read a "attack" on the KJV by the cerm.info guy. I called that dirty devil a Fundamentalist imitator, because he seems to hold to all other Fundamental doctrines, except for his associations with filthy bibles and ministries. Yet that page is a clear attack on Fundamentalism as a movement. So he clearly is no fundamentalist.

Why associate with atheists? I am not associating with you. I am here to discuss and reason with you about the Bible and why its God's word.

Seems like it would be easier to convince your fellow christians that they're slightly off the path than convince someone like me that the bible is anything but silly fiction.

Go ahead and try, though. Lets hear your reasoning as to why the KJV is not filthy like those other versions for starters.

Also, do you think if the bible was written in modern times the authors would forbid talking to atheists on the internet? I bet they would.
