Default Week Long Jewish Festivals

As Palm Sunday has just passed, does anybody know which week long Jewish festival is associated with palm fronds ,shouts of 'Hosanna' and quotations from Psalm 118?

Is it a) Passover or b) Tabernacles?

If I read a story about Christmas celebrations featuring fireworks and declarations of independence, would I be right in thinking that the author confused July 4th with Dec. 25th?

The festival with palm fronds and various others (myrtle, olive and pine in Neh 8:13ff, willows and others in Lev 23:33ff) is Sukkot or Booths (tabernacles).

[Jubilees 16:31-2. for it is ordained for ever regarding Israel that they should celebrate it and dwell in booths, and set wreaths upon 31 their heads, and take leafy boughs, and willows from the brook. And Abraham took branches of palm trees, and the fruit of goodly trees, and every day going round the altar with the branches seven times [a day] in the morning, he praised and gave thanks to his God for all things in joy.]
