Let's have your proof of this, please. Not, I mean, proof that Scrivener's posts were "scholarly" (since that would take some doing), but proof that Wieland banned "Mr. Scivener" and, more importantly, if so, that the reason that Wieland banned Scrivener was so that Bart would not be offended.

And let's note that there are over 70 posts still Wieland's list that are authored by you/"Mr. Scrivener".

I have backfiles from Willker's list, but that would take weeks to go through. Is there any point?

Does anyone seriously challenge the fact that Scrivener was banned from TC-List for posting criticisms of Ehrman? Its all Scrivener wrote about that was ever controversial.

ps. you're still under the mistaken impression that 'scrivener' and I are the same person. That is an error. We have teamed up for about six months to run a website on John 8:1-11, but that's it. He is his own person. And we don't agree on a lot of things.

I banned you, because actually what happened was first I pmed Scrivener not to ban you, then you posted even more vitriolic stuff without any attempt at providing textual-critical evidence. After that I told scrivener to just ban you. I reversed my opinion in your defence.

He was going to ban you, but held off to hear about what others on TC-Alt list said.
