Post Astrology is NOT condemned in the Bible

In Isaiah 47 we can read:

13 "You are wearied in the multitudes of your counsel; Let now the ASTROLOGERS, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from what is to come upon you.

14 Behold, they shall be as stubble, The fire shall burn them; They shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame; It shall not be a coal to be warmed by, Nor a fire to sit before."

This very clearly is using the word "you" for talking directly to Babylon (as in Isaiah 47.1), respectively to the Kings of Babylon. It is also clear here that the word "they" refers to the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators.

He who says the two verses presents the opinion (threatens with the baning wish of bad fate), that the Astrologers cannot (should not) save the babylonian Kings from fate, even if the babylonian Kings would want that. Little knows he who says these two verses about babylonian Kings, or expects the babylonian Kings who listen to be kind of over-anxious and superstitious, however, the babylonian Kings did never ask Astrologers to save them Kings from fate. They did not ask them, because it's not the job of Astrologers to save someone from fate. Astrology IS NOT fate alteration. The whole two verses is nothing else than an empty bluff. Nowhere in the bible are Astrologers really burned. Are not, because they never did any important wrong. Only the catholic Church hundreds of years later burned witches. Burned them because the witches knew better.

If Astrology would be condemned in the Bible, it would read: "Any Astrology is condemned by God." Nowhere reads the Bible so. In Isaiah 47 not Astrology is condemned, but at best the pleasure of the babylonbian Kings to keep the Israelites enslaved.

Ratonally, Isaiah 47.13-14 is how Israel reacts on being enslaved by Babylon. The Israelites were not even sure to get out from that enslavement, but according to 'their report', they tricked the Babylonians very well. There is no condemtion of Astrology in that. There is just the assumption that babylonian priest won't alter fate. Astrology IS NOT fate alteration. The Israelites try to have a better future by threatening the Babylonian Kings with words - and win.

Yet another reason to question the omniscient nature of the inspiration for the Bible.
