As a sign that we are truly living in the End Times, the Ark itself will be Raptured just before the team gets there.

It's gonna be fun. I think that at expedition's end, we'll be treated to some photos of odd impressions in the ground and lots of windy retoric about standing upon that sacred ground. The faithful will swoon with orgasmic delight and the skeptics will giggle madly.

From what I've read, getting to this site is not a walk in the park. Apparently, it's a pretty stiff climb, even for an experienced mountaineer. If they fail to reach it, what then? God didn't want nobody messin' with His sutff?

I wonder further; if (when) nothing is found, will they try to fake it? It's been done many times before.

I had the TV on this morning (not a usual thing, but I wanted to see if the T'wolves had won) and was doing a little channel surfing. One of the network morning shows (ABC, I think it was) had a discussion about this "finding". They treated the people purporting that this was Noah's Ark as though they were credentialed experts. It was awful. The host even said something about how this was "fascinating" as he cut to weather.

Just another depressing occurence in American society.

After my miraculous conversion, I can only endorse this link. There really is so much fascinating stuff that I didn't know before. Just take one minor example from history, it actually proves how the atheist conspiracy of 1917 was just another in a long line of attempts to cover up the 'Truth'.

'And there's the tale of a months-long expedition by Czar Nicholas's soldiers, during which the Ark was supposedly entered and photographed. It's location was mapped, allegedly, somewhere in the rugged, canyon-riddled upper regions on the "Armenian side." This expedition was just prior to the Bolshevik Revolution during which, it is said, many of the Czar's soldiers were hunted down and slaughtered and the Ark photos, maps and artifacts disappeared. Relatives of the few soldiers who survived have family records that seem to confirm the authenticity of the expedition.' That proves it they have the records, see!

In all seriousness, what the hell are they seeing in that picture? I kinda saw the mother theresa in the bun, the virgin mary on the side of the glass building I could kinda see too, although the one that formed in that window was incredibly shitty, but I can't see how anyone could possibly mistake that for anything other than rocks and snow on a mountain...

If you were seeing through the eyes of Faith (or the bottom of a bottle), all would be clear.

I heard some people at work talking about this earlier today. Most of them were talking about it as if it was actually proven that it really is the Ark. The majority of what I heard consisted of - "Wow, they have finally found it!", "Let's see the athiests deny this!", and (the real kicker) "Yeah, I do kinda see a boat"... :banghead: They'll see whatever they want to see and nothing they don't wan't to see.

I must say that these past few months, I've been hearing more nonsense from fundies than I ever had before. They seem to be more vocal lately. I guess they're still getting high off their weekly Passion orgasms.

Hey! Don't shoot the messenger. I don't think there's anything to this. Even if it is a boat, which would be wild, I don't see any way of linking it to the biblical Noah.

I for one don't need physical proof for my faith and find it pathetic that some do. I can never see the dinosaur or the vase in the clump of dirt these archaeologists find until they clean it up either.

If nothing else, this thing will keep some well funded, highly intelligent, experienced and skilled scientists out of the bars for a while.

Yeah, the same thing happened with the "Brother of Jesus" ossuary was found

Oh, BTW, how many people even remeber that anymore?

And today at work a co-worker was talking about how she watched the Passion last night... again... and it made her cry for her lord and savior because its so true... again....

brother....
