Help on authorial fatigue.
Greetings, all.
I have been trying, unsuccessfully, for the last hour and a half to find a thread on authorial fatigue in the synoptic Gospels. It was a fascinating read, focusing on copyist fatigue between various parables within the Synoptics. Does anyone know where this thread is? Additionally, any external links providing more info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Try googling "Mark Goodacre" who talks about fatigue on his website that rejects the Q hypothesis.
I'd be more precise if I could but that should get you what you want. Discussion in threads here usually refers back to Goodacre. cheers yalla ps Or you can wait here for Toto to wave his magic thread finding wand. |

This is Goodacre's article on Fatigue in the Synoptics.
Ben started a thread called Theudas and Judas the Galilean: Did Luke know Josephus? that discusses it a bit but I don't know if that is the thread you wanted. ETA: Toto was faster but my links are prettier. |

My keyboard was stuck last night, or I would have prettied up the links.
I suggest that go to the BCH main page and click on the "search this forum" button on the top right, and enter the term "fatigue." You'll find a few more threads. |
