Default Armor of Iron

Some time ago I read of a biblical account of a battle in which the followers of Jehovah lost because the enemy was protected by armor of iron. Can anyone tell me the book and chapter of the Bible containing that info?

It was iron chariots:

Judges 1:19 And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out [the inhabitants of] the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.

Note that, in Joshua, iron chariots are not supposed to be much of a problem for YHWH's chosen peope:

Joshua 17:18 But the mountain shall be thine; for it [is] a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, [and] though they [be] strong.
