What say you?
Ok, I hope this belongs in Evolution/Creation.
After reading genesis I have some questions. 1. Why did god create a woman for Adam? Wouldn’t a man be a better helper? 2. If man was created in god’s image, who’s image was Eve made in? I mean the parts are not the same. Where did female parts come from? 3. If Eve was made from Adam’s rib, wouldn’t he be making love to himself? 4. What kind of DNA, did Cain and Abe have?!? There apparently was no sex until after they ate from the tree of knowledge, and where ran out of Eden by god. Maybe that’s why they have different parts, God knew that that would happen. If he did, why did he tempt them in the first place? If he didn’t know, then his not much of a god! What say you? |

I think BC&H is an appropriate home for this.

God was created in man's image.
It was a translation error. Several years ago I was traveling on business. Unusually I had no preparations to do for the next day so looking for something to occupy my time before sleep time, I picked up the Gideon bible left there. I thought that maybe I should start reading from the beginning to see what all the fuss was about. To me it read like a fairy tale and I still cannot fathom how anyone can think of this as historical. |

2. God is a spirit. We have spirits. There's your image. 3. We're all made of molecules, are we making love to ourselves? 4. I assume human. |
