But what was the offense? As God had this thingie about a mans sperm[seed], the offense might be seen as the woman destroying[killing] future Israelites. Causing a man to swell, become infected and lose his reproductive power and so would eliminate an entire generation that would carry his tribal name. He could not be fruitful and multiple. She would then have rendered the man worthless to his god. And because, the strength of a man was seen in his sons which made war in order to keep the Hebrew god's name alive.

IIUC "The LORD is my Shepherd" is mentioned as one of the favourite bits of the Bible which the list compares to the less liked passages.
