Have you not noticed that Xtians, while nice enough as individuals, become vicious when in groups and their views are challanged?

Well, no actually..

But after looking at the profiles of the people who DARE to assume that they know me and have some kind of insight into the relationship between myself and my wife (from one little playful post on the Internet) and noticing that they are in fact Xtian I begin to see your point.

To all those supposed Xtians concerned.. My wife and I have been together for over a decade and more than respect and love each other.. If you choose not to believe this, kindly have enough respect to refrain from responding to any further posts I make.

I have no time for you

Vis-a-vis bible studies, I attended one some time back because my wife was invited by a friend of hers who was Xian. Ultimately it was rather boring since none of the really interesting issues were discussed. For example the moderator, who was the pastor from the church sponsoring it, brought up Lewis' "trilemma". When I suggested there was a 4th alternative that was more reasonable, namely that we have a best a sketchy picture of Jesus from texts of questionable reliability he basically waved his hands and said, "that's the focus of another discussion for another time." Needless to say we have never been asked back. The only positive thing about it was that my wife, who was a sort of "on-the-fence" nonbeliever at the time decided she was in fact an atheist.
Thank you for an insightful, thoughtful and relevant reply.
