I could, but I am sorely disinclined to do so, since it would only encourage what seems to be a rampant practice here among the majority of posters-- and that's never to go to a library and to do some real research in the published liteature, but instead to limit oneself only to what one can find on the web.

I have no interest in facilitating that practice.

Dear Judas,
Are you more interested in selling a few more copies of your book?

Is Judas posting here now?

In any case, I referenced an article, not a book.

Is it for sale on Google Books?

Temptations of Jesus in Early Christianity By Jeffrey B. Gibson can be previewed online on Google books. Check the discussion around p 187 - 189. This is interesting:
Is the price 30 pieces of silver?

You could have easily explained your view without the crap about doing our own research.

For checking what Toto pointed to? No. It's free.

But the issue wasn't the ease with which I could have stated things. It was whether I should summarize what I wrote in the article -- especially for people who have the attitude toward research beyond the web that you apparently do.

Now, do you have anything substantive to contribute to the question of what's going on in Mk. 8:11-13?

There's nothing wrong with doing your own personal research at your local library.

OK Jeffrey....prove me wrong and I will apologize for comparing you to Judas.

Provide the link to a free copy of your article.

First show me where I said that there was a link of any kind to my JSNTS article.

No, you are not correct. The JTSNT article is NOT available at Google books. And I never said it was.

My book is available on google books and it costs nothing to read it there.

May I have that apology now -- if only for what appears to be your studious inability to read correctly what I write?

Dear Jeffrey,
I have been to the link at google books several times. I do not see how I can read your book for free. If you want an apology, show me how I can read your book for free.
