Default Disfunctional Debate re: Tacitus - Rook vs Fathom

An amazingly loopy debate re the relevance of Tacitus to HJ/MJ has just concluded at RRS - Rook vs Fathom

Exciting as the intervening 5 pages may be (& believe me there is some riveting stuff), after you have 'got the gist' on pg #1, jump to the hilarious conclusion at Post #204

Oh dear, why do we weep?

Hmmm,

I'm not sure what is supposd to be hilarious about it? Do you mean the way the argumentation revolves around knee jerk emotional defensive rationalizations by all parties?

Not much different than here.
