There apparently was no sex until after they ate from the tree of knowledge

Why do you say that? God told them to be fruitful and multiply. They didn't know they were naked until after they ate the fruit.

and where ran out of Eden by god.

God can't stand sin, of course they were run out. Not to mention they disobeyed Him and damned their kids along with them.

Maybe that’s why they have different parts, God knew that that would happen.

Agreed. God knew they would have kids, so He gave them different parts.

If he did, why did he tempt them in the first place?

Satan did the tempting. God did the testing. They failed the test and succumbed to Satan's tempting. If you're asking why God tested them, the answer is love. If they loved Him, they would have obeyed Him. Also, if there was no way to disobey Him, would they have had free will?

If he didn’t know, then his not much of a god!

He knew, but it was either test them or take away their free will. Do you enjoy your free will?

Satan wasn't in the Garden of Eden story. It was a Talking Snake.

Or are you suggesting that God punished snakes unfairly, causing them to eat dust and crawl on the ground, just because Satan disguised himself as one?

Or maybe you are suggesting that God was fooled by the disguise?

Satan was in the garden, see Ezekiel 28.13. Also no snake, but satan is conveyed as 'subtil' and a 'serpent'. See Revelation 20.2 for some of his names.

Look what he did in the garden, ..."The serpent beguiled me"... Genesis 3.13
This was a total seduction, mentally and physical, we got sex in the garden, they covered their butts, not their mouths.

Now let the typing begin. (I'll watch! hehehe)

Think how boring the business of "multiplying" would be w/o the knowledge that you and your partner are naked. I'm glad they ate the fruit.

If the snake was Satan, (and I'am not sure it was.)
God created him and the snake too, so he created the temption.
In fact god is suppose to have created everything. Wouldn't that include all temption?
Also you said,"he knew", and I agree, sooooo.
No free will. It even say's so in the NT.
This is one of the reasons I no longer belive in the bible.
Do you enjoy your free will?
Yes as an atheist I do, and I am responsible for my actions.
As a christian you have no free will, all outcomes are known and predetermined.
Are he doen't know.
I could be wrong.
anyway thank's for post's.

After reading genesis I have some questions.
1. Why did god create a woman for Adam? Wouldn’t a man be a better helper? ... because adam was horny... and no... or yes depending on whether you're straight or gay...
2. If man was created in god’s image, who’s image was Eve made in? I mean the parts are not the same. Where did female parts come from? ... wherever/whoever they came from... GOOD JOB!!!!
3. If Eve was made from Adam’s rib, wouldn’t he be making love to himself? .... which explains why so many guys try to... oh never mind...
4. What kind of DNA, did Cain and Abe have?!? DNAdam?

What say you?

First: Ezekiel 28.13 ? don't know what you saw there.
revelations 20.2 does call satan a snake, but not the snake in Eden.
I mean moses had a cain that truned into a snake, was that satan to?
Maybe satan free'd the children of Israel. Who knew!? :Cheeky:

I used to believe that snakes could talk. Now it just sounds silly.
