History of Christmas
Richard Carrier radio interview
Carrier gives a fairly academic interview about the history of Christmas, followed by a liberalish Catholic priest and a serious Protestant who claims that Christmas is pagan, and the Puritans were right to ban Christmas. The Protestant draws on mythicist arguments about the number of pagan gods who were born around Christmas, including Khrishna. The program ends with a comedian. podcast Cheers, everyone. |

Interesting link, Toto, thanks. The Pastor at the end is painful -- and I'll be darned if it doesn't sound like he is farting through his part of the interview.
