Nah, I'll be the loner but I find offa's detour interesting.

His notion that Mary was "from a town near Bethlehem" suggests that she was a virgin if Bethlehem is the gateway to paradise where the bread of life is held. That their spouses are priests (by nature), or spirits and prophets suggests that sin abounds in Samaria where Jews are allowed to be human first.

It justs adds weight to my argument that the carpentry of Joseph is a metaphor for the sinfulness that mellowed him.

No need to apologize and please do not envy me. Instead, be happy to know that I like your input insofar as I can follow it. Not likely will I call you wrong and dangerous to be shunned. You're a buddy I could drink beer with and talk about anything and everything including the good old days when I was pouring concrete. Done lots of it.

Check out our senority dates. I used to belong to the old II board, or is this the II board? I miss prembone most of all. There was roger and laurie and jay the obscure and fudpucker and a bunch more and if any of them per chance reads this and if I missed them ... that's the way we were.

If you want to talk about apostles and their deaths, well, they died naturally. I mean, naturally they died (Amos).

Saul of Tarsus was a near relative of Herod's sister Salome. She was probably his grandmother. The king of Cappadocia in Josephus was Herod's brother Archy. Cappadocia was the island created per my web site www.josephus-pursuit.com.

St. Peter was Herodias' 1st husband and the daughter named Salome never danced for Antipas. The lady that danced for Antipas was Simon Magus' wife named Helen. Magus is Simon of Cyrene, Lazarus, the dude called the "Coppersmith" and, died alongside of the woman in the Simony story. Only, they did not die, just like the 185,000 Assyrians per Isaiah. They died because they were not for Isaiah. Either you are for me or you are dead. It is an age old philosophy that the Bush administration has thought they invented. It is just like the p.n.a.c. are the "American People", whereas, we are the 'american people', born and bred in the U.S.A.

Last week I was working in Swanton, Oh. The snow was horizontal so I had to keep my head down while I stripped the foundation for my meager $35,000 salary. I just wonder about the warm asses looking for handouts. I am a Viet Nam vet and served guard on Rudolph Hess at Spandau Prison. I cannot belong to any organizations (VFW, Legion, etc.) because I have to sign a paper saying that I believe in GOD. The silly part about it is, if you believe in GOD then don't sign the paper. It is a trust between you and HIM. If you sign the paper then you are doing a mankind duty and you do not believe in GOD.

When you recite the pledge and include "one nation under GOD" then you are admittingly confirming that GOD does not exist.

If GOD is with you, do not say his name. If you are a part of GOD then he is with you and the nation is under GOD. If you say it is then we have a problem and it is your problem.

Amos may perceive what I am talking about because He is in the upper chamber.

Yes I think I do know what you mean and find it the tragedy of tragedies. I feel for sorry those who are forced into the "problem," which gets worse when the freedom they fight for is the snare of entrapment. Under God is like being a slave to the freedom that we must be liberated from and trust that the mystery of faith removes the fig leave that keeps us prisoner in the lower house. To make "under God" a civil duty shows that none have ever even come close to Abraham's bosom and remain godlessly under God. I've always thought of America as a godless nation and I am happy to see you say it.
