It would of bankrupted Nebby no way he could of paid his regulars let alone the mercenarys which made up most of the worlds armies back then and without riches and plunder they didnt hang around long.
So if your argument is the almighty Nebby conquered Tyre what did Alexander the Great conquer?

What's that got to do with Tyre?

It's the famous arnoldo "I can think of anything meaningful to say about the subject, so let's talk about something else" routine.

I need a pants down smilie just for you arnoldo. You get caught so frequently with bare bottom. I'm still waiting on you to get into the analysis of Dan 11 that you started and finished two verse of. You've apparently run away from the Daniel discussion. :banghead:

God, it's hard for you to think logically. A land siege of thirteen years? Hopefully you can see that it so improbable that even you can't keep a straight face advocating such a thing. How many historically established land sieges in antiquity can you find that lasted 13 years?? Where did the food and water supplies come from??

Tyre was not a military power. It didn't fight battles. It's defense was its location on the island. It depended on its ships especially in times of siege. That's how come the siege lasted for 13 years. Tyre could still get some supplies from the Mediterranean. There was no port on the coast. A well carried out siege on the insignificant coastal town of Ushu if the town had sufficient defensive works might last a year. You need to think about the fact that the siege lasted 13 years. It should convince you that your religiously motivated dependence on the notion that Ushu is really what was meant by Tyre is a futile smokescreen.

Fine, amgio. The Zeke prophecy was the following: True or false

1. Destruction of Jerusalem by Nebby. True
2. Destruction of Tyre by Nebby: True

Which part of "stay on topic" do you not understand?

Obviously false.

You admit that there are two references, Tyre and Ushu, right? This makes for Tyre not including Ushu. Tyre was the island. Ushu was the mainland possession that the Tyrians used to get access to water, food, and timber. You can whinge until you're blue in the face about "mainland Tyre", but you know that that wasn't Tyre.

So your argument is that Tyre, the island, which was less than half a mile away from Tyre on the mainland are two different cities, right?
