Default Could Jesus Have Been a Dummy?

We're always hearing about certain figures and their growing religious movement behind them. Does the leader of Falun Gong really have psychic powers? Thousands believe he does. What about the child star of Santeria? The dolphins? Of course, this is only in our very century. And now a dummy: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051219/...o_mannequin_dc

Apparently, any sort of argument about the historicity of Jesus gives us endless possibilities and many, many probabilities based on what could have happened. Jesus could have been a weird-looking shaman who after death was thought to haunt the area? Endless.

Why do these religiously inept people keep embarrasing themselves by posting here?

And why do the religiously enlightened consistently fail to display their wisdom and knowledge, preferring rather to spout hollow platitudes?

Religiously inept? That's a first. Well, off to better things.

I have to admit that this is the first time I've heard this possibility. I personally doubt he existed, but if he did I think he would have been a real person with a small group of followers, and not the hordes of thousands that the gospels describe. I do think you're theory would make a kick-ass episode of Family Guy though

"Religiously inept?"

I'm trying to picture what that may mean.

Is it someone who stumbles going up church steps?

Someone who reads the Quran rather than the bible?

Someone who thinks god is a woman?

Care to enlighten?
