[Hoax claims that] George Clooney Movie Claims Jesus and Christianity a Roman Hoax
A shocking allegation has been made by American movie actor, George Clooney, which is sure to upset millions of religious believers around the world. In a film written and directed by Clooney, he claims that the Roman Catholic Church and the figurehead of Jesus were knowing inventions of the Roman government in the first century B.C.E., part of a hoax designed to produce a passive, orderly society.
Depicting the family of Julius Caesar as cold-blooded killers and con-artists, the movie follows the life stories of Caesar’s three children, Julia, Lucius, and Gaius, as they moved between regions bordering the Mediterranean, adopting disguises and false identities in an attempt to secure increased tax revenues for their father. Most notable of their schemes was the attempted coup of the Jewish High Priests in Palestine around 50 BC, later altered in official records to coincide with the biblical events of approximately 30 AD. Caesar agreed to let Herod Agrippa, a Greek posing as a Jewish king, marry his 13-year-old daughter Julia, in exchange for Roman support of the impostor king. This allowed Julia to become educated in the Jewish culture so that she could teach her future son, Lucius, how to pose as a potential Jewish Messiah, with the intent of manipulating the Jewish population into allowing their religious beliefs to be updated. Criminal by modern standards, Lucius’ birth was the product of a long-term affair between Julia and her father, Julius Caesar, during her period of exile in Egypt, when she was disguised as Cleopatra VII and married off to a Roman general to disguise the incestuous relationship, which would have been frowned upon by the Roman public. When Lucius failed to fully secure the confidence of the Jews and instead aroused suspicion of his true alliances by encouraging them to pay taxes to Caesar, he was put up on the cross for only long enough to appear to be dead, then taken down by his fellow Romans. Soon after, Lucius and Julia, along with their brother Gaius, traveled to Britain to begin establishing the early Christian Church amongst the European natives and in regions of northern Africa. The film deals primarily with the siblings’ plans for subduing the local rebel groups through the use of a liberal form of Judaism, itself an earlier invention of the Caesar family ancestors, but also graphically details the romantic entanglements between Julia and her sons, which famously led to a child known in legend as the Holy Grail, and also to the brutal slaying by Caesar first of Gaius in 55 BC, then of Julia and a second infant fathered by Lucius in 54 BC. The killings were avenged by Lucius in the famous assassination of Julius Caesar, in 44 BC, a date encoded into many modern films to pay homage to the man who slaughtered hundreds of thousands of European natives in a push to increase his family’s land holdings and political influence. Clooney has advanced his career gradually from television actor, to the celebrated star of numerous commercially and artistically successful films, and even holds a position with the U.N. His father has worked in television news and politics, and Clooney is related to a number of prominent Hollywood figures. He has made other films in the past with the Caesar family drama and related bloodline themes slyly encoded into their plots, perpetrating what Clooney perhaps considers “the greatest practical joke ever pulled.” While the film clearly mourns the transition from brutal and unruly Roman times to the strict morality of the Catholic Church, his portrayal of Lucius as a trained assassin who not only poses as Jesus of Nazareth, but pursues a sexual relationship with his mother, is certain to cause outrage among Christian believers. While there is much historical evidence to support Clooney’s claims, his motives for revealing such potentially explosive secrets are being called into question. Clooney’s position with the U.N., which has admitted ties to the “Luciferian” sect of those who believe Jesus was modeled on Lucius Caesar rather than an authentic Jewish Messiah with supernatural powers, as much of the Christian world has been incredibly led to believe, has given him access to global politicians and vulnerable populations of immigrants, refugees, and the traumatized victims of genocide. The likely implication of this is that Clooney himself is poised to make a run for some form of new world leader, suggestive of the New World Order’s stated preference for an end to fictitious religions and the long-established ruse of pretending that individual countries are not working in concert with one another. Regardless of his blood ties to ancient nobility or future international political aspirations, sources suggest that Clooney may find the hurdle of overcoming the inevitable anger and feelings of betrayal in the general public simply too much to shoulder alone. The backlash could go well beyond falling box office sales, into the realm of protests, violent demonstrations, and even, ironically, assassination. As it would be in his best interest to recruit the persuasive support of celebrities and politicians such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Steven Spielberg in helping millions, even billions, of religious followers to understand the historic reasons for their secretive family culture propagating such massive acts of fraud, the implications of Clooney’s decision to present the world with such an honest, disturbing, and vile account on film could be far-reaching in scope, size, and sheer emotional magnitude. http://www.wireservice.ca/index.php?...splay&sid=3373 |

Joseph Atwill's Caesar's Messiah - The Roman Conspiracy to Invent Jesus (2005) According to Atwill, the Gospels are not accounts of the ministry of a historical Jewish Jesus compiled by his followers sixty years after his death. They are texts deliberately created to trick Messianic Jews into worshipping the Roman Emperor 'in disguise'. The essence of Atwill's discovery is that the majority of the key events in the life of Jesus are in fact satirical: each is an elegant literary play on a military battle in which the Jewish armies had been defeated by the Romans. This is an extraordinary claim-but supported by all the necessary evidence. or ..... Francesco Carotta's Jesus was Caesar - On the Julian Origin of Christianity – an investigative report (2005) Julius Caesar, son of Venus and founder of the Roman Empire, was elevated to the status of Imperial God, Divus Julius, after his violent death. The cult that surrounded him dissolved as Christianity surfaced. A cult surrounding Jesus Christ, son of God and originator of Christianity, appeared during the second century. Early historians, however, never mentioned Jesus and even now there is no actual proof of his existence. On the one hand, an actual historical figure missing his cult, on the other, a cult missing its actual historical figure: intriguing mirror images. |

I'm willing to consider just about anything on this topic, because to me at least, none of the historical Jesus ideas make any sense. Jesus looks to me liek an intentionally constructed figure.
It's not in the least implausible that Rome would have used religious subterfuge to try to subdue the troublesome Jewish population...actually it's somehwat implausible that they wouldn't have tried to find a way to domesticate Judasim. |

Julius Caesar did indeed have a daughter called Julia. She was not, however, ever married to Herod Agrippa, who was born 44 years after she died (and was not a Greek). She was married to Pompey the Great, but she did not have sons called Gaius and Lucius, whether fathered by her own father, by Pompey, or by anybody else. She died in childbirth before her father ever arrived in Egypt.
Possibly somebody has mixed up elements from the life of Julius Caesar with elements from the life of Augustus, who also had a daughter called Julia. Julia was married to Agrippa (a Roman, not a Greek or a feigned Jew, and no relation to Herod Agrippa), and they had two daughters and three sons, the older two of whom were indeed called Gaius and Lucius. |

Josephus preserves Mark Anthony's account of the passion of "JC" (the other "JC")
The Passion of JC as Julius Caesar and not JC

It was a "gravitas" Roman hoax.
"'Weight' was the quality they most respected; 'Gravitas' was the typical Roman virtue. |

Note: George Clooney is not making this movie. This was a self-promoting hoax press release from Susan Maureen Brandt. Brandt's conspiracy theories go light years beyond those of Atwill, Carotta, or even Pete.
