Default "Jesus: Rise to Power" on National Geographic TV

This is the Australian TV website:

Jesus Rise to Power - episodes

US website is not up yet, but it seems to be scheduled for the end of March (i.e., Easter.)

Presented by Michael Scott

Quote:
In his quest to explain the rise of Christianity, Dr Scott uncovers how the Christian message spread and grew through Roman expertise and technology.

--

Continuing to explore the rise of Christianity, Dr Scott learns that the Romans condemned Christians as cannibals and deviants. So why were they so reluctant to put them to death?

--

At the end of his research into the rise of Christianity, Dr Scott looks at how the religious and political force of Christianity became permanently woven into the fabric of the Roman Empire.
There is a trailer here, which seems to have been inspired by Mel Gibson
