Ah.................comon now......................I was getting so close to teaching these heathens that a sex addict has a mental problem while a nymphomaniac is a gift of God.

They were this close to agreeing with me.

Then let me spell it out for you.

It is a Socratic discussion on the subject of nymphomania.

Read Plato.

Barefoot Bree, I am surprised a nice Georgia woman like you would resort to such language.

Sex addiction starts to imply that the need for sex is starting to interfere with normal life in a harmful fashion.

By Angyson's definition of nympho, well hell, i'm a nymphomaniac (well, whatever the male version is called).

Ok, it looks like this is just a matter of differing perspective on the definition of the terms. Nothing more.
By definition, a nympho is female. I do not know what one calls their male equivalents.

You are mistaken. It is a teaching method that relies on a series of questions to get your pupil to arrive at the conclusion you have already arrived at. Harvard Business School uses it effectively. Read " Symposium" by Plato to watch Socrates at work.
