Mass murderer etc
According to the Bible God is perhaps worse than the most cruel person that ever lived. According to what is said He had all on earth save to incestuous heros and a handfull of people with ties to them. As soon as Moses a very old man landed on solid ground he wasted no time I suppose planting grape plant roots and invented fermentation, got drunk and had sex with his two daughters. Latter Lot pulled the same thing with Wine they had fled with. Christians paint Muslims as killers of unbelievers which is rarely done. On the other hand Christians have killed those they condider unbeliers for 1000's of years and so did Jews. The Budist religion is less prone to such wickedness.

Evil Bible
Check out the Evil Bible site. It will inform those with open minds. I love sources of information free of nonsense. When you spend 4 years earning a degree in a real school, state one you are repulsed at nonsense pushed as truth. This is an insult to our intelligence and to us.

I am uncertain as to whether you are formulating an actual argument here? The important thing about mistakes history has documented is that we look at them and learn from them, not that we engage in titular reductionist fallacies and blame members of group x for activities of members of group x a thousand years ago. Guilt is not a transferable commodity (sorry non-traducianist original sin advocates). I do propose we bring up all the negative and dark sides of Christian and non Christian history that we can find. I further propose that we teah our children them in high school and that we all become self-aware and learn from them.

Whats an evil bible site?
What is an evil bible? Inanimate objects cannot be evil. They can only be used for evil by sentient beings with volition (those capable of perfoming evil). Vinnie |

rebel - this is the second topic you have started on this subject. I will probably merge the two threads. A topic should do more than point to a website. Is there something new about this website? It appears to be a compendium of anti-theist arguments, but I don't see anything new. |

Rebels: Welcome to the forums . . . mind the hounds. . . . Just to be [Pedantic--Ed.] a nit-pick, it was Noah who landed on solid ground. As for whether or not Muslims kill "unbelievers" such sectarian arguments depend on perspective--Israelis will have a different one, and so will Palestinians regarding "Jews." If one looks far enough in history, one will find evil perpetrated by everyone save, perhaps, the Bushmen . . . but I do not trust them either. . . . Will note, en passant that fortunately, the definition of sanity does not depend on posters here. --J.D. |
