O.K. I looked. I think it would be much better if contradictions were distinguised from inconsistencies. Nor am I sure what constitutes an inconsistency. The synoptic gospels could be called inconsistent because they don't all relate the same events or relate them identically. Do those qualify?

An unsophisicated yet very readable and fun book is, The Born Again Skeptic's Guide to the Bible (or via: amazon.co.uk), by Ruth Green.
By "unsophisicated," I mean that she is not a scholar--just a person who read the Bible, was horrified, and wrote a 300 page book discussing what she found. |
