Default Dutch Christians encompass atheism and mythicism

From a link on James McGrath's blog:

Dutch rethink Christianity for a doubtful world

Quote:
Mr Hendrikse describes the Bible's account of Jesus's life as a mythological story about a man who may never have existed, even if it is a valuable source of wisdom about how to lead a good life.

His book Believing in a Non-Existent God led to calls from more traditionalist Christians for him to be removed. However, a special church meeting decided his views were too widely shared among church thinkers for him to be singled out.

And it is even most sad when so-called atheists detest others who claim Jesus most probably NEVER did exist.

It is blatantly obvious that the Jesus character described in the NT did NOT exist and that even Christians are beginning to come to such a realization.

Is it not bizarre that we are now waiting on atheists to agree with those Christians who have now ADMITTED the probability that Jesus was Mythology?

It is time we stop blaming Christians because they are now saying Jesus was probably MYTH or accept such a possibility.

It is sad that some so-called atheists do not accept the obvious that the Jesus story is just a Myth fable of antiquity that was believed by people who themselves ALREADY believed multiple myth fables.

And what do Non-Christians call other Non-Christians who make the very SAME observation as "Honest Christians" that Jesus was most likely a MYTH fable and probably did NOT exist?

Honest Non-Christians.
Are you implying that those Non-Christians who claim that there existed an HJ of Nazareth without any reliable sources of antiquity are dishonest?

Or what do you call people who make claims using ADMITTED UNRELIABLE sources?

Illogical Non Christians???
