If it has not yet come up: "Political Theology of Paul", by Jacob Taubes. The English translation (by Dana Hollander) just came out this year, although the German text is based upon a series of lectures he gave in 1987 (while literally dying from advanced cancer). It is a brilliantly fascinating piece. It largely comes out of Taubes' lifelong engagement (and inability to comprehend) the political theorist Carl Schmitt's involvement with the Nazi party (Taubes, it needs to be said, was Jewish, born in 1923). It is not only a stunningly brilliant book but (from what I have read so far) is an answer to Carl Schmitt's obsession with maintaining social order at any expense.
