Number and Measure
Good, then calculating the number of hours that are in 7 and 1/2 days,
and that are in 7 and 1/2 weeks ought to pose no great difficulty, and the 1/4, the 1/2, and the double measure (2x) ought to also be easy to determine. For those of you who have actually followed the foregoing instructions in this thread and completed your "homework", now draw a straight diagonal line from the upper right hand corner of your time "map" to the lower left hand corner, and another diagonal straight line from the upper left hand corner to the lower right hand corner, this will form an x shape on your 105 day time "map", notice the day where the diagonals intersect. Consider now the "small things", and think upon the "things that are equal", for it is the small measure that takes the measure of great measures; And the measures which are "equal", that take the measure all the things that are not equal. "Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail;" "On the fifteenth day of the first month........" Three and one half times three hundred sixty hours, or three and one half lines of fifteen days, Time and Measure, mene, tekel, parsin; Who will fathom what may be fathomed? Three and one half fathoms, or seven yards, or twenty one feet, or two hundred fifty two inches. twenty five and two tenths hours, or one and five one hundredths days, or one thousand five hundred twelve minutes; to twenty five hundred twenty hours, one hundred and five days, one hundred fifty one thousand two hundred minutes. - Zerubabble - |

Make the height thereof seven hand-breadths, and the length thereof fifteen hand-breadths, plus four inches, accounting five fingers to a hand-breadth, and each finger-breadth at seven tenths of an inch, and each hand-breadth, at three and one-half inches; Make the rectangle of fine white linen twenty-four and one-half inches in height, and fifty-six and one-half inches in length, mark off upon the left edge four inches, carefully fold four equal times, making a hem one inch wide and twenty-four and one-half inches long, secure with four rows of fine stitching. From the hem line mark upon the linen lines vertically and horizontally at three and one half inch intervals upon the front and upon the back. Use one-quarter inch wide black ribbon, fold over, and with fine stitching sew and bind the three borders. use one-eighth inch wide black ribbon, and with fine stitching apply it along the vertical hem line, and along the vertical and the horizontal lines on the front and on the back. Take fine linen of sky-blue, and cut thirty squares, three and one-half inches by three and one-half inches, with fine stitching sew one piece into place in the third square horizontally from the top left corner, and on the reverse side, in the third square from the top right corner, back to back. Thus do in the second row, in the second square, front and rear, in the third row, the first square, front and rear, and in the fourth row, the seventh square, front and rear, and in the fifth row, the sixth square, front and rear, and in the sixth row, the fifth square front and rear, and in the seventh row, the fourth square front and rear, so continuing until the pattern be fully completed both front and rear, fifteen sky-blue squares on the front, and fifteen sky-blue squares on the reverse. -Zerubabble- |

Number and Measure
Zechariah Chapter 5
1 Then again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, a flying roll. 2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. Think upon the things that are equal, measure you the pattern, yes, stretch out a measuring line upon it, according to the measure of the measuring reed, and mark it well, for its length is twice its breadth, and its breadth is half its length, Who will number its number and measure its measure, and who can hinder its flight? Judgment shall fly forth upon all the earth, for they have removed the ancient landmarks which their fathers set. A consuming fire shall be kindled within their midst, Then shall they know that all the ways of Yahweh are equal. |
