Post Commentary/Criticism on the Conversion of Paul

Hello this is my first post here although I have been lurking around for over a year.

I am looking for some good links or ideas to think about concerning the conversion of Paul desctribed in Acts 9 and a few other places. I have searched this site but was unable to find anything here. Also any other links or suggestions about studying other parts of the book of Acts would be great. Even some suggestions on a good x-tian theology message boards that have intelligent discourse as opposed to normal fundie chatter would be appreciated.

Thanks.

apologetics.org
this is about the best place i've found on the web to discuss things with reasonable xians.

the matter of pauls conversion, and his subsequent impact on the developing religion is crucial to xians although most never comprehend why. some there do, but most defend paul. nons tend to see him as a lunatic who either had an epileptic seizure or was struck by lightening.

Question

Is there any specific aspect of the conversion story that interests you?

A lot of interesting thread topics could come from that story, but I'm not sure what particular angle you want to take it from.

I am studying this story right now in my Acts of the Apostles class and I am looking for some other sources of information besides what is provided to me in the class. I go to a fairly liberal christian college so my professor is not afraid to look at the text critically but I am curious about other background information or interpretations that he would not address in class.

Especially concerning the contradictions in the 3 accounts. Are they valid contradictions? How do apologists usually deal with them? Also any information on the dating of this story would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Clay

www.asa3.org has some good Christian apologetics, mostly in regards to science.
