Sodom and Gomorrah
Have the sites for these places been found? What do they show compared to what the bible claims about what happened? People turning into salt notwithstanding.

I saw a very bad programme on (Brit) Channel 4 some time ago called "<a href="http://www.ex.ac.uk/~jbcalver/violets.htm" target="_blank">True Bible Stories</a>" in which a group of enthusiasts took a submarine ride in the Dead Sea and convinced themselves that various amorphous lumps of salt spotted through murky water must be the remains of Sodom and/or Gomorrah. That was about as much evidence as they turned up.
BTW, what did people do to each other in Gomorrah that was so terrible? Does anyone know what Gomorrahy would be? [ December 21, 2001: Message edited by: Pantera ]</p> |

Offa; That was a quaint reply Pantera. I thought it was humorous.
Myself, I think that Qumran was Sodomy and Ain Feshkha was Gommorrah, but I have nothing to back up those statements ... well, I have very little and choose not to discuss the coincidences at this time. Your reply was very thought provoking and I appreciate your taking the time to reply. thanks, offa |
