Great Book: The Mythic Past: Biblical Archeaology and the Myth of Israel
I just bought The Mythic Past: Biblical Archaeology and the Myth of Israel
Although I just started it, this 1999 tome seems like a much deeper and more radical book than The Bible Unearthed. It also denser and less accessible. The low rating of this work at Amazon.com is from the usual yammerhead critics of "Higher Criticism" also known as "rational thought." Michael |
