Paul's Vision
Yes, that one which (according to him) made him join a certain cult that he had been persecuting.
I've seen such theories as eating some moldy bread and an epileptic fit. But whatever had happened to him, I'm sure that it was something in his head and in his head only, as those theories suggest; I think it significant that a lot of Roman Emperors, Muslim conquerors, and Communist leaders did not have similar experiences. Not to mention all those who have pushed erroneous doctrines that they had labeled Xtianity. |

Really, why get some thug like Paul, should have just went to the top if he was going to reveal himself and hooked up the Emperor or Rome with a little divine pursuasion and he would have avoided a lot of hassels....

I'm sorry David, I have read this statement a number of times, and it still does not make any sense. What are you saying here? Nomad |

LOL
Nomad, My point is, at some point JC and Jehovah decided to reveal the heavens to Saul, a supposed thug and enforcer, thus sealing his alliegence. If they were prepared to do what is apparently a taboo thing for the allmighty and provide undeniable proof of heaven and the trinity for the purpose of gaining a gentile's alleigence. Why would they get a peon like Saul, Why not just reveal the heavens to Pilot, or someone that matters. If that had occurred, the conversion of Rome could have happened centuries earlier just as it did when Constantine converted. David |
