I have read that John is dated at around or after 120 AD. However, how is it that we know that? i.e. what quotes in John give that date away?

Most Fundies I know say John personally knew Jesus.

I don't think many people take the 120 date seriously anymore. It's more of a debate of circa 60 for an early or 90-100 for a late date.
