I am, once aging, having a debate with a Christian from school... I brought up the fact that there are virtually no mentions of Jesus by scholars of that time...

He stated that:

"However false this statement is, it is commonly know to be true, because the other mentions of Jesus by historians are never brought to light, well that stops now. Her is a list of a few: Tacticus (ca.55-120), Suetonius (early second century), Josephus (ca. 37- 97), Thallus (mid first century), Pliny (Early second century), as well as the "Talmud"-ancient jewish writings, written against the christians, and there is more."

Now I easily rebutted his claims about, Tacticus, Suetonius, Pliny, and Josephus. But I would like to find more information about Thallus, and the Talmud.
