Illogical - Genesis 6:7
Christian God is omniscient, yet fails to know this would happen:
Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. Please do not give me another biblical translation because it is impossible for the Universal and Unchanging word of God to be "interpereted" in different ways. Universal would mean just that. |

I guess that would just be common sense. If you know you're going to regret something (especially on the magnitude of having to wipe out the entire race of man, save 8) then you just probably wouldn't do it in the first place...
But what do I know? I'm not God. I guess he did know, but he just didn't care. So we can wipe out that all-loving part instead... [This message has been edited by oriecat (edited March 12, 2001).] |

Excellent point. If the 'god' of the bible is true, then either he is not omniscient, or he does not care.

For that matter, what did the fowls, beasts and creeping things do to get on God's bad side? (Assuming He has a bad side )
