Talking There Is No Biblical Criticism

"If the person you're talking to has a mainline understanding of revelation, then it is the author telling what they know somehow under the guidance of the holy spirit, but keeping their perspective, so it works."

I was talking to a religious philosophy student and asked whether there was such a thing a biblical contradiction.

He ventured forth this as a Christian reply to such a question - he is an agnostic.

But, in this "keeping of perspective" then obviously the bible is not literally written by God - not directly.
And, also, it opens up the question - How much of the bible is actually true, when all this perspective is wrought upon it?

It's just that a few Christians in the past offered this explanation (rudely) and I have only now seen the flaws.
