Just a quick question for the members of the forum here.
Do any of you guys have any recent information about the dig at Qumran a few hundred yards from the cave where the DSS
were found?

It seems that a coffin/mausoleum was uncovered recently in that area, along with a previously unknown cave.

The coffin was made covered in Zinc and sealed by welding the seams.
It is the only zinc coffin ever found in
Israel or Palestine.
It was appearently moved to Qumran from some other site and buried in a cave.

No other information was available at the time I read this story.
