There is a tribe of Jews in India who call themselves Bene Israel or Children of Israel. Genetic research has proved that they are descendants of Aaron and so are actually purest of the pure among Jews.

What's interesting is I believe the Palestinians also can be demonstrated to be descendents of Jacob.

Too bad that the "Jews" in Israel can't accept the Palestinians as the brothers that they are, for then, Peace may happen more quickly.

The dispersion spread Jews all over the known world, and many of them interbred with the cultures they were in.

If I'm not mistaken, there is also genetic evidence of Israel (Jacob's descendents) in some tribes in Iran and Iraq, and even Ethiopa.

I think this finding in India could probably be attributed to the dispersion, a known historical fact apart from the Bible.

Yes, 60 Minutes did a show on this tribe a few years ago. (Ethiopia) They do circumcision, have the same dietary laws and Bible stories, as well as the DNA strand.
