I don't use the word "sin".
I use the word "wrong".

I don't believe that Adam and Eve existed; so no original sin.

I can make my own mistakes without being hit with a rap I don't deserve. My sense of justice is totally offended by undeserved guilt and shame.

It's profound, lol, and a very deductive argument that comes full circle in Revelations!

dear Amos... I suddenly had that vision of you sitting at the right side of God, clothed in an immaculate white robe pointing a finger to me and protesting " do not let her in.... she is not a catholic".

Your prevailing spirit is found in Rev.3.

Christianity, similarly to many religions, doesn't appreciate or even tolerate much diversity; many proponents insist that you must believe just as they do or be condemned to eternal torment. Many Protestants believe that all Catholics are destined for hell, many Catholics believe that most Jews are destined for hell, many Catholics and Protestants believe all Mormans are hell-bound, and the majority of Muslims believe that all Christians are wrong whether they are Morman, Catholic, or otherwise.

So you appreciate diversity; okay, so what?

Rick
So... it makes it that I try not to stereotype... I try to not give in to prejudicial thoughts....and I certainly do not pertain to read God's mind by evaluating with my own very limited understanding how He would judge anyone. I was always Veronique before I became a christian and I continue to be Veronique with the same appreciation for diversity as ever.
Remember dr. Rick.... Vive La Difference.

Oh I forgot to mention that God then asked you to get me a glass of wine... and He even insited that you do your best to dig up my favourite! you executed the task with some degree of huffing and puffing. I ended up giving you a hug and it did not matter anylonger if I had a prevailing spirit or not.

I really like my scenario better....
