Default Phyllis Schafely

I just found this link on a homeschooling website (xian oriented, but not pushy at all).

http://www.hslda.org/docs/link.asp?U...020604%2Eshtml

She makes a comment about parents being free to teach their kids to be judgemental about illegal and immoral acts (the previous sentence was about gay rights). Have fun commenting on this twit!!!

Her comment on multiculturalism is just as wonderful (heavy sarcasm here), that America is a country of freedom and oppurturnity for all (not if you listen to her), etc. Thought everyone here might enjoy this!!

Phyllis Schlafly is an embarrassment. I can't think of a better word.

A woman of her age, obsessed with Bill Clinton's penis. It's shameful.

She was one of the first really prominent RR activists I can remember.

I know her Eagle Forum was very supportive of Reagan in both the '76 Repub. primaries and the '80 election.

I wonder how judgemental she is about raising a son who is gay? And can we then also judge her for raising a gay son?

Ya know, everytime I hear the woman's name, what follows in my head is the phrase "What a bitch."

Wow, that is one ignorant woman. I guess one of the classes she doesn't have to teach to her children is that in all reality she's a raving lunatic.

And who's public schools don't mention jefferson, franklin, or washington? And I have no idea wtf DWEM is so I guess it's about as important as the rest of the shit she babbles on about.

She's one of those double-stupid people that are overly nationalistic and religious (which sometimes come together) and represent a decent majority of the homophobes, racists, and overall moronic people that refuse to really think. Well I guess I'm done now.

Default Phyllis can practice law, but YOU CANNOT!

She's a longtime right wing nutcase.
She has a bad case of "do as I say, not as I do".
She's been to a prestigious law school, practices law, has a bar card, but tells women they should stay home and raise kids to be fulfilled.

Also, Beverly LaHaye is or was the president of another idiot group called Concerned Women for America. I think they were the inspiration for Ladies Against Women.

Bev's hubby is the infamous Rev. Tim LaHaye, author of the "Left Behind" series of drivel.

So I take it you're in favor of "do as I say, not as I do" regarding women having careers? Phyllis gets to have a legal career and all other women are supposed to stay home and do housework and crank out snot nosed brats?
