Ok, since I have not had dealings with you before, ax, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I am not a theist, but have set my roots deep in atheism. However, I do find some of your original post quite disturbing as it seems to do nothing more than demonize theists in any way possible, even if resorting to distortions and personal, and perhaps faulty, interpretations of the text. I will wish to make it clear that I take no sides on this matter, but I find that some of these points are intellectually unsound. With that out of the way, on with the text:

I'd like to begin my criticism of this point with a dictionary definition of unruly, and while we may not agree that this is the true (tm) definition of unruly I think it may help to sort out some of this:

Unruly: not submissive or cooperative; ungovernable; unmanageable; disorderly

As we can see by the definition there is an idea of submissiveness with the word 'unruly' that seems to be missing from the citations you have proffered, in addition the citations seem to portray quite a different meaning from the word 'unruly'. Now, if you used this word for lack of a better one, that's fine, but if you chose this word intentionally in order to distort the text, I find it rather offensive. Things like "he is a glutton, and a drunkard", "Who so curseth father or mother", "he that smiteth his father, or his mother" indicate a far different idea that the definition of 'unruly'. 'Unruly' seems a mild word to use, and this is why I question your intentions. Distortion or a simple error, you tell me. Further, I'd like to note your use of a New Testament verse for this one point only, I'll delve into that later, but I just wish to make a note of it now.

(Some more New Testament text, once again, to be discussed later.) Ok, singing and speaking I can see is pretty clear from the text, so I will agree with you on that one, even though there is no mention of 'singing' in the text, speech itself seems to be pretty much out of the question. However, the use of the word 'learn' seems to be taken out of context. Once again, I'm not clear on whether it was intentional or not, as it seems to be a nuance more than anything, and I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. As I said before, though, 'learn' seems to be taken out of context, and while I understand that the text itself is open to wide and varying interpretation, the word 'learn' seems to indicate a sense of posing questions more than the literal meaning of the word 'learn' (a translation error within the text, perhaps?). It would seem quite obvious that if a woman is meant to go to church, she will 'learn' something, whether it be about the Torah or what the weather is like outside, it's absurd to picture a woman being made to go to church and then having her plug her ears for the whole time that she's there just because she can't 'learn' anything (if we are to go by the literal definition). This seems quite obvious to me, perhaps you were putting this together in a rush? Let me know what you think.

I'm pretty comfortable in giving you this one, considering other parts of the Bible that deal with worship of other gods, but the only problem I see is that by face value it seems to be a <a href="http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/hasty-generalization.html" target="_blank">Hasty Generalization Fallacy</a>, as you're using one isolated incident to generalize about all religious freedom. Even citing a few more quotes from the text, problems arise. Religious freedom is a broad term, and it can even be extending to the idea of just different interpretations of the text itself as 'religious freedom' (i.e. the difference between Catholics and Protestants). Are these not 'religious freedom' in a sense, even if it only extends to Abrahamic religions? While it may not be an ideal form of 'religious freedom' is this not in itself a part of that freedom? I never read which denomination to be in the Bible, but if you find out which it is from the text, I'm sure it would change the world of the Abrahamic religions as we know it today.

This seems nothing more than a straw man. Once again, you've resorted to using one isolated incident in order to generalize Yaweh's view of the Geneva Convention. I see nothing here about the Geneva Convention, of course, it might be because it hadn't been established yet. I just have trouble with this as it seems intellectually dishonest to demonize the text in such a fashion as to portray Yaweh's position on the Geneva Convention as a whole by using this one citing.

I have nothing to really say about this one except that there seems to be an expressed difference within the text between "wearing showy jewlry and clothing" and vanity. While I would agree with you on this point, it seems to have been demonstrated in the wrong fashion.

(Once again, some more New Testament text, bear with me on this one.) Ok, analyzing the text, we get a clear feeling of the word 'justice' or, more precisely, 'injustice'. Once again, it seems intellectually dishonest to cite this as a means of portraying the views that 'God' holds regarding the institution of slavery as a whole. It is very clear that 'God' understands the idea of injustice and that such can be committed by slave owners. It is quite clear that the idea here is bearing injustice, which diminishes the idea of slavery itself within the text (however, once again, I suppose it is open to interpretation, but the idea of "Christ" suffering the the universal "you" seems to make it quite clear that slavery is not the main issue here). Further, I see nothing to suggest that 'God' would consider slavery a 'good' institution (in a moral sense), but it would seem to me (my opinion) that it is something that could not be dealt with effectively at the time that the text was written and therefore a kind of catch-22, if you will. I know that's a bit sketchy, but if you have questions, feel free to ask.

Yup, this one's pretty cut and dry, good job on this one.

(More NT, more later.) Ok...Once again, a fairly good job, but there is one problem dealing with: "inherit the kingdom of God". What, exactly, does "inheriting the kingdom of God" mean? Is it expressly pointed out that they will be summarily sent to Hell, or is this assumed (a decent assumption, mind you, but the idea of purgatory is also something which must be tackled if this is to be a completely accurate statement).

Good, note the use of the word "has" in your question, a good way to stay intellectually sound and still portray the effect that you're going for, therefore I can hardly have any dispute with this one, good wording.

Ah, the moment I'm sure you've been waiting in anticipation for While the question and answer alone, seem to be quite good when by themselves, the problem I see is the idea that you've already included the NT in Q&A test, and when this one pops up it becomes inconsistant. It would seem almost intentional that you forgot the NT account of Mary Magdalene, as she was (assumed) to be a prostitute and an incredible sinner, though, she was the first to witness Christ after the resurrection. Are you ignoring this point, or had you forgotten about it? Had you kept your Q&A to the OT, I would have been fine with this point, however, since you wished to include the NT on several occasions, it seems to be almost purposeful that you left this point out. I make no accusations, you tell me what happened.

Good choice, that verse always struck me as odd, and you conducted this one in a sound manner as well.

I'm just curious what version of the Bible you are using. In the NIV it makes the idea of 'rape' very clear, however, what you've cited here differs from my version and seems more ambiguous by far, unless Deut. 26 & 27 make the idea of rape clear to carry on to 28-29 as well, further, as a suggestion, you might wish to cite specifics about "rape" as to "lay hold on her" could mean a multitude of different things besides rape, however, this point is granted.

Overall, I'd say fairly well done, however, as I've stated, there are discrepancies which should be fully addressed if you wish this to be taken seriously rather than just another attempt to demonize the Bible and the Christian religion.

I know I am probably going well to far into this, but sometimes I get a bug that crawls up my ass when I read what I take as just blatant and absurd anti-christian nonsense.
